They use open source technologies with their own products and services to help their customers design, build and operate their cloud native platforms. They call their approach GitOps: Cloud Native agility, reliability and scalability.

As a Solutions Architect you'll help customers to understand, select and use Cloud Native technologies. That begins by partnering with sales to demo products and explore customers' requirements. Often this means investigating technical requirements and creating technical proposals. With larger accounts, you'll carry out POC (Proof Of Concept) engagements.

You will help clients through their entire Kubernetes and Cloud Native journey: from experimentation through to operating an enterprise-wide platform. As a Solutions Architect you'll need to be enthusiastic about Cloud Native technologies and their ability to revolutionize the way teams build and operate software. You'll be inquisitive about the challenges real customers face building and operating their platforms and the ability to explain and influence how products can solve those challenges. This is a technical role within the sales team so previous experience of a sales environment is preferable.


Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to the sales team, helping them to understand and present solutions.
Work in tandem with sales representatives to demonstrate and explain to prospective customers the benefits of various products and services.
Technically verify customer requirements and convert them into appropriate designs that will meet the customer's goals.
Prepare and present technical sales documents and demonstrations.
Create and deliver POC's that demonstrate the GitOps Kuberenetes approach.

Skills & Experience

Degree in a technology field or equivalent industry experience.
2+ years in a technical sales role (SE/SA) or customer facing role.
3+ years experience in a technical role such as consulting, development, devops or operations.
Experience designing, presenting and demonstrating complex technology projects to customers.
Enthusiastic about Cloud Native technologies and their transformational abilities.
Practical experience with Docker containers, Linux and Kubernetes.
Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies used in the datacenter.
Skills in Go and Python preferable.
Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation.
