Opportunity:
Our client s users often struggle with life problems like anxiety, depression, and stress. Our vision is to build a place where our users don't feel alone in their problems. As a Product Manager, you'll partner closely with our Head of Product and the CEO/founder to work on creating a new community experience in our platform as well as owning end to end product experience. You'll leverage social elements to increase user retention and organic growth, work on projects like building our first recommendation engine to ultimately build towards the vision of making our client s application THE destination people trust for their mental wellness.


This is a role where you'll wear many hats and get exposure to all aspects of the product. You will also get to spend your days digging into data, talking to our users and collaborate closely with our Design, Engineering, Marketing and Content teams to figure out how to innovate on our current product experience, and create a community where users don't feel so alone.


We're looking for someone who has 5+ years experience in building a consumer product and looking for ownership & autonomy. You will be, and must be excited about, working on the inspiring mission of empowering people to live better, every day.

Responsibilities:
-- Closely partner with the Head of Product and the CEO to work on vision projects that are about creating new community experiences
-- Work on the core product experience owning everything from figuring out how to help our users form a meditation habit to testing out various pricing models to drive monetization.
-- Ideate, design, experiment and execute end to end features that will help people feel a sense of community in our app.
-- Build towards the vision of making us the destination people trust for their mental wellness
-- Leverage community and social elements to increase user retention and organic user growth


Requirements:
-- Experience. You have 5+ years of experience delivering successful and innovative social products that people love
-- Communication. You are a clear and effective communicator and are able to tell a story.
-- Creativity and scrappiness. You'll be creating and designing features that have never been built before. You excel at creating and designing things from scratch.
-- Customer Obsession. You have the ability to connect and empathize with our users to deliver solutions to help solve their biggest problems. You obsess about customers and their needs.
-- Passion for Community. You have a passion for building a meaningful digital community of people that have similar problems and aspirations.
-- Design Sensibility. A deep understanding of and appreciation for good design and user experience. You like to sketch things out yourself and love collaborating with designers.
-- Data Intuition. You find a way to get the data you need (whether quantitative or qualitative) and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage this data to make decisions.
-- Startup Mentality. You're scrappy, willing to get your hands dirty (even responding to some customer responses) in order to build something magical.
-- Growth Mindset. You are biased toward growth and learning. If you don't have a certain skillset or don't know an answer, you will go out and do whatever you can to learn and understand.
