Opportunity:
Our client an online marketplace for music/band merchandise and vinyl. Their goal is to help fans discover and buy authentic products from their favorite artists, and support artists by growing their online merch sales. They are Spotify s worldwide merch partner and power product listings in Spotify for tens of thousands of artists around the world that reach more than 100M fans each month.


The Lead Product Manager will help accelerate our client s progress by identifying, scoping, planning, implementing, measuring and refining product features across their platform.


Responsibilities:
-- You ll be responsible for our client s full product roadmap from identifying opportunities and concepting solutions to scoping, deploying and optimizing results. You ll serve a large and diverse group of stakeholders from around the world including:
- Fans - from metal heads in Norway to teenie boppers in Japan
- Artists - from locally touring acts to global icons like Pink Floyd and Logic
- Partners - from streaming services, to ticketing and tech companies
-- You ll work alongside our client s team of engineers and designers to lead fast ideation, technical development and launch of new products. You ll maximize efficiency in a rapidly changing environment, proactively seek out creative solutions and consistently challenge your comfortable limits.
-- You ll be building on the strong foundation our client has built with 10,000+ artists, hundreds of industry partners, millions of music fans and an empowered, fast-moving team that loves collaboration, growth and progress.
-- This role reports directly to the CEO.


Requirements:
-- You have lead or made significant, direct contributions to operations in rapidly-changing, high-growth environments. You are scrappy, creative and resourceful and enjoy challenging situations that require new solutions.
-- You have a working knowledge of all aspects of the product-stack including design, ecommerce, engineering, growth, usability, A/B testing and merchandising.
-- You re a naturally quantitative person who is expert at balancing competing priorities, anticipating roadblocks and working creatively to achieve higher-order goals.
-- You ve purchased and integrated third-party platforms and solutions into existing workflows.
Ideal candidates will be technical leaders with experience in ecommerce and/or marketplaces with experience rapidly accelerating growth and maximizing impact of engineering via process, product, growth and acquisition.
-- Clear communication (especially written) and quantitative decision making are second nature to you, and you re looking to rapidly grow your problem-solving and management skills in a role where your personal contributions have real impact.
-- Significant experience in product design, web architecture, user interface design and wireframing/mock up creation
-- Superior data and analytical skills including the ability to directly perform data analysis
-- A predisposition to give structure to ambiguous problems
-- BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field strongly preferred


You have professional experience with or a working understanding of:
- Product design, user-interface design
- Web architecture & internet services
- Business intelligence tools
- Mobile design and/or mobile commerce
- Spreadsheets and/or Airtable
- Personalization and/or social networking
