This role reports directly to the CEO and you will work closely with the leadership team and department managers to set them up for the rapid growth ahead. As the Head of People, you will help shape the vision and strategic direction of the company culture while leading and expanding upon an existing talented People and Recruitment team. - Lead all HR related activities - People Operations, Talent Acquisition & Culture
- Report to the CEO and act as a thought partner with the Executive Leadership on company culture, company growth plans and other HR issues- Help write the playbook for recruiting, develop and coach a recruiting team to support the organization as they grow.- Help establish and lead a performance review and feedback process to drive a culture of feedback and learning- Lead their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts and initiatives to ensure they are an incredible place for anyone and everyone- Manager employee relations and investigations within the organization and provide ongoing coaching and counsel to managers related to employee concerns, company programs, development etc.- Ensure that they are compliant with regulatory concerns, audits and governance.
- Oversee the management and administration of all employee policies and benefits.- Implement adequate systems and policies for the employees
- Spearhead ongoing organizational initiatives that enable and improve company culture as they grown and scale- Leverage data and benchmarks to help guide decision making and drive implementation and adoption of key people analytics to ensure thoughtful, data-driven recruitment and people decisions.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as an HR professional working in a fast paced environment
- 5+ years of experience leading People Operations at an early to growth stage startup
- Experience in scaling a fast growing tech company - you joined a startup while they were at a Series A/B/C funding stage and helped grow the company to 200+ people and beyond.- Enjoy operating as much as strategizing and are adept at both
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Have a solid understanding of HR compliance and regulations within the US
- Natural coach and mentor with ability to foster relationships across all levels- Experience designing and leading DEI initiatives with proven results for hiring, promotion and retention- Strong collaboration, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal communication skills- Ability to work in ambiguity and anticipate challenges and solutions before they arise- Kind and curious- Show an ability to challenge conventional approaches and a willingness to build a unique approach
- Passionate about putting people and culture at the center of the company's strategy- Ability to challenge the team/organization while holding them accountable for their commitments
