Our client is a text messaging platform that facilitates personal conversations between real people around shared values. Powering some of the largest campaigns and organizations across the country, they transform the way that organizations communicate with their supporters and helps them achieve their goals. They were started in December 2014 by Facebook and MongoDB alumni, and they are backed by top-tier investors.
Our client is looking for an experienced Account Executive who will act as the first point of contact for prospects. Your main role is to bring on new clients. Our client has grown at a record speed over the past few years and they are looking for a dynamic and determined Account Executive to evangelize and help close pivotal deals on their our team.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for seeking out new customers and communicating how our cleint can help meet their marketing, organizing and engagement needs. You will have experience prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, negotiating, and a track record of closing new business. You should also understand use cases and how to sell across multiple departments and industries. To be successful in this role you will understand how to go after new business and build relationships with potential customers.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO EVERYDAY
-Breaking into a territory uncovering new use cases and opportunities.
Call, email, text with executives at all levels to close deals.
-Manage the full sales-cycle, including contract generation and other deliverables for closing.
-Partner with SDR's on qualification and hand-offs.
-Take the lead on deals in partnership with Product, Marketing, Sales Engineers, Client Success Managers and Account Managers.
-Establish relationships with a variety of existing prospects / leads.
-Be scrappy in prospecting and finding new opportunities.
-Meet annual and quarterly sales objectives.
-Understand an account's business needs.
-Use SFDC for lead management and sales forecasting.
-Prioritize opportunities and coordinate your internal team to provide the best customer experience.
-Territory visits to meet customers face to face when necessary.
-Collaborate on quarterly events to generate more leads in Nonprofit.
-Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan with other members of the nonprofit vertical.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
-3+ years of demonstrated success in a quota carrying sales role with a consistent track record of exceeding quote requirements.
-An enthusiasm to strengthen organizations by scaling genuine, human relationships.
-You have the passion to be the best in the industry and care about the impact of your work.
-You are a highly skilled communicator with an ability to successfully interface with key stakeholders.
-Experience in a high-growth SaaS company.
-Technically adept; experienced with web technologies, specifically Salesforce.com.
-A results-driven, team player who is comfortable within a fluid, fast-paced environment.
