The Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce will be working on multiple projects and helping to bring new Salesforce applications to market on Salesforce.com. This position requires extensive knowledge and proven senior experience in Salesforce.com development, design and delivery of complex business solutions built on the Force.com platform.You must have knowledge and experience with the Salesforce.com platform including best practices, Apex development, visual force and other common Salesforce development technologies as well as experience working with enterprise level (large) datasets. You should be able to help define strategies as to how the Salesforce.com platform and solutions should technically inter-operate. You ll work on building solutions that publish data science insights to the Salesforce platform and integrate data from Salesforce platform.Responsibilities
-Provide expertise to the development team on the Salesforce platform.
-Build scalable, data-driven services and applications on the Salesforce platform leveraging Apex development and force.com best practices.
-Plan and execute on deployment and scale up/down.
-Define strategies on how the Salesforce platform and our client s platform can function best together, front end/UI and back end/data driven technologies.
-Understand the underlying Salesforce app and permissions infrastructure use this understanding to build easy-to-use and distribute Salesforce apps.
-Ability to leverage fullstack skills to quickly pick-up new projects.Required Experience
-Masters in Computer Science preferred.
-2-3 years Salesforce.com development experience including apex development, visual force and salesforce.com in a leadership/architect role.
-Experience with collaborating with internal and external clients to design solutions.
-Experience building Salesforce applications and knowledge of Salesforce objects.
-Developing cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device compatible solutions on Salesforce.
-Building scalable data oriented services and applications.
-Experience in SQL and NoSQL Databases.
-Experience and interest in Big Data and large scale machine learning models would be a plus.
-Proven ability to innovate and solve hard problems.
-Strong track record of continuous invention and building, creating new things is second nature to you.
-Working knowledge of Hadoop, MapReduce, Storm, Spark or other Big Data processing platform.
-Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
-Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive.
-Nice to have - Certification (preferably Dev 501 or Advanced Force.com).
