Our hardware products are plug and play, and core to the product portfolio. The hardware team is responsible for industrial design, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and supply chain. Everyone here has a big impact in bringing products to market. We focus on the key creative/design/problem-solving and bolster our development resources with top JDMs, toolmakers, and suppliers.

The Product Introduction (NPI) Materials Manager is responsible for working within the operations and engineering teams to drive development, implementation, and management of the new product engineering BOM. The NPI Materials Manager is the business voice responsible for capturing, documenting, and communicating supply chain operations for our hardware products. They are involved throughout all stages of the engineering & mass-production ramp product lifecycle. They will support executive supply chain operations reviews outlining performance against budget, target, and actual cost across our portfolio of Industrial IoT products.

Responsibilities Include:
Lead our NPI materials procurement in coordination with sourcing
Manage procurement, scheduling, and delivery of supplier components for material readiness during NPI builds
Work with our global manufacturing partners to set your product purchase order cost for the upcoming period
Collaborate with engineering and the supply chain team to set and manage materials supply to achieve cost targets
Track the program actual costs vs. target, to identify program deltas and corrective actions to bring back on track
Attend new product introduction meetings to understand the cost implication of engineering and/or process changes as related to product fully loaded cost targets
Manage the new product engineering BOM through each lifecycle stage in our PLM
Drive the supply chain and operations team to provide detailed cost reduction forecast that enable you to meet and exceed your product goals
Own BOM accuracy for sourcing during NPI and work with cross-functional teams to control suppliers, subassembly drawings, datasheets, specifications, CAD, and artwork files in document control
Develop rapport with partners and detailed knowledge of "how the factory works," its capabilities, and limitations

Key Qualifications:
BA/BS, Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical), Technology Supply Chain Management preferred. Economics or another analytical social science acceptable with manufacturing, supply chain, electronics materials-management work experience
3+ years experience in hardware/IoT, possessing knowledge of supply chain, materials management, and sourcing preferred
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
Self motivated, proactive, creative and critical problem solving capabilities
Ability to support international travel
