#22306 Managing Director, Engineering - Open Source PaaS Cloud Location: San Francisco, CA, 94129Company:Our client is an open source project co-developed with an industry leader in the field of agile software development. They are opinionated about how software should be built ? they pair program, all-day every-day, because they know it delivers remarkable results. They test drive code, automate all regression tests, and continuously integrate. Work is done in small teams, and they rotate them frequently. They are committed to building systems that work without heroics.
Agile is not just for software development. Our client's cloud operations group is discovering new ways to operate systems using agile principles and practices such as pairing and test-driven development. Their days are intense, but they also make sure people have time off to relax, recharge, and refocus.
Our client is located in San Francisco, in a SOMA office near 4th and Howard St. To make sure you start your day energized, you'll be provided a catered breakfast every weekday morning, and unlimited snacks/drinks are of course available all day. Their collaborative, open-plan office space is filled with talented, like-minded folks who enjoy taking advantage of weekly Tech Talks, playing ping pong, and hanging out with their co-workers.Engineering Manager
