Our client is seeking an experienced content marketing strategist who can build and implement a content strategy that will grow our brand, boost organic traffic, and convert high quality leads. You will be responsible for leading all content marketing efforts from strategy and execution to distribution and measurement. You will be a great writer, creative storyteller who can effectively communicate what matters most to customers, partners and the press. You will do well at your job if you are goal-oriented, obsessed with metrics and focused on optimizing content for lead conversion.Responsibilities:
-Build and lead inbound content strategy to drive lead generation and boost organic traffic.
-Create and implement framework for planning, writing, editing and producing content.
-Manage and maintain a rich, segmented editorial calendar.
-Lead and manage a team of writers to create outstanding short and long form content including; eBooks, Blogs, webinars, whitepapers, videos, website copy, direct mail, etc.
-Drive consistent relevant traffic and marketing qualified leads by converting site traffic through high quality content.
-Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in tone, and complies with SEO best practices.
-Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors and work closely with PR to drive brand narratives and help us become a thought leader.
-Explore and test creative ways to engage and identify new channels to reach out target customers and takes results and turn them into insights that inform the strategy and execution of content.
-Own content success metrics and analytics and obsessively track and measure results, gather insights, and optimize content for conversion.
-Collaborate with demand gen, product marketing, design, and customer success to leverage and optimize content marketing opportunities.
-Optimize the funnel through email nurture, content and social channels. Requirements:-7-10 years of content marketing experience.
-Experience in SaaS targeting B2B mid-market companies.
-Background in journalism, digital marketing, or brand comms.
-Exceptional writer, knows how to tell a compelling story and drive brand narratives.
-Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, Marketo, Sprout Social.
-Understands integrated marketing strategy and funnel optimization.
-Has a solid understanding of SEO and thematic approach to content.
-Relevant, adaptable, creative, storyteller, eye for design.
-Results driven, goal oriented and "has the hustle".
