They are looking for a Pre-Sales AI Solution Architect to support their growing business development and sales team. Directly reporting to the VP of Business Development. This position is within the worldwide field organization and the individual will work closely with Account Managers and Business Development Managers in a technical role to enable the growth of deep learning based computer vision business. Job Opportunity:Our client is the world leader in edge based perception is looking for a Business Development Director who is passionate about defining and growing the edge=based computer vision market, creating customer value and executing partnership strategies with an objective to build new markets, develop their technology solution and achieve market leadership. Directly reporting to the VP of Business Development. This position is within their worldwide field organization and the individual will work closely with Business Development, Sales and Marketing leaders, Solutions Architects, Product Management and Engineering.Responsibilities:- Identify and close revenue opportunities- Quantigy the market opportunity, craft a strategy, define initiatives and outcomes, and orchestrate resources to achieve those outcomes. Must have the ability to analyze and segment market opportunities and develop strategic business plans around them.- Engage prospects and customers to develop a deep understanding of their goals, strategies, technical and business needs - and help to define and deliver high-value solutions that meet these needs.-Build upon personal existing networks at all levels within customer and partner organizations.-Strategically partner with lighthouse customers and industry-specific application and other solution partners and integrators targeting the market.- Look for and develop emerging use cases to help cultivate new vertical opportunities- Maintain a detailed knowledge of customer plans around future productsQualifications: -Bachelors Degree-Proven track record in a technical business development leadership role-Deep knowledge and extensive experience of AI/DL/ML/CV and embedded architecture, driving adoption and growth of a technology-based solution-Passion for ecosystem development-Strong account management and partnership experience and skills -Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills are an essential requirement.-Feel comfortable across all major internal functional areas (engineering, sales, marketing, executives), as well as external partners, customers, and system integrators.Preferred Skills and Experience: -MBA -Experience working in a distributed team
